The mystery surrounding two doll-like figures seized in Peru, which sparked global speculation about extraterrestrial life, has been resolved. Peruvian officials have declared that these figures are not aliens, but rather elaborate fabrications.
Forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada, who led the investigation, stated that the objects were made from paper, glue, metal, and a combination of human and animal bones. The figures, which included a three-fingered hand, were crafted to resemble mummified bodies. This revelation was made following a thorough examination by Peru’s Institute for Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences. Estrada emphasized that these figures were not extraterrestrial, intraterrestrial, a new species, or hybrids, but were simply dolls assembled using earthly materials, debunking any claims of their alien origin.
The discovery of these figures had initially caused a stir among UFO enthusiasts and in the media. Mexican journalist and UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan had previously presented similar objects in Mexico, claiming them to be non-human bodies of extraterrestrial origin. However, the expert analysis in Peru has clarified that these objects, like the ones found in Mexico, are not extraterrestrial.
This resolution highlights the importance of scientific analysis in understanding unusual findings, particularly those that might challenge our understanding of life and species diversity.
